SayWhatClub 2008 Convention

Can't get enough face-to-face time with Hard of Hearing people? Love the ease with which communication happens when everyone else can't hear either? Enjoy meeting new people? If you answered yes to any or all of those questions, we have great news for you!

SayWhatClub is coming to town! The annual convention for SWC will happen in Philadelphia, PA on July 9-12 at the Holiday Inn Historic District hotel. With social events, interesting workshops and a lot of fascinating people, the convention promises 4 days of non-stop happiness.

Here are some of the interesting workshops lined up for the convention:

We also will have a musical presentation by members of the Association of Adult Musicians with Hearing Loss at our Saturday night banquet, which includes a cash bar/social hour and dinner (included in the costs of registration). Musicians scheduled to perform are: Wendy Cheng (violin), Charles Mokotoff (classical guitar), Janice Rosen (piano) and Jon Seiger (jazz piano and voice).

SWC is offering our early bird prices for an extra few weeks. Reserve your place for fun now! Registration for the whole convention is $100.00 single or $175.00 per couple. The Board of Directors is also offering 3 scholarships for SWC members to attend the convention. Any member is welcome to submit an essay about "What SWC Means to Me and Why I Want to Attend" no later than March 14, 2008 to swcboard@saywhatclub.com with "Essay" in the subject line.
