Hello, and welcome! The SWC is buzzing with excitement over the upcoming SWC Convention in San Diego this summer. As of this writing, most of the expected 60 spaces have already been filled, and we are probably going to have to plan for more. If you haven't already seen it, check out the San Diego Con webpage.
What's new in this issue? We have a haiku from one of our members, and an article about a very special place from another member.
On the World list, some members took part in a writing "contest". The aim of the contest was to write about hearing aids in Dr. Seussian rhyme. Two members (Barb Rulason and Michelle from GA) were the "judges" and awarded prizes. In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday this month, you can see the results of the contest and the titles they won in the "Hearing Aids and Dr. Seuss" section.
I hope you enjoy this issue! As always, if you have any suggestions for future newsletters, OR if you have any articles and you are an SWC member, send them to me at kate@ricochet.net
