The time is fast approaching when so many of us in the SayWhatClub will gather on the beautiful gulf coast of Florida for our annual conference. I am sure the sea breezes will keep us cool, unlike the interior, and that no matter what the temperature outside, we will have so much fun, we won't particularly notice. I saw the other day that the beach where we will be was voted one of the top ten in the country!
The dates are July 27-31, the place Clearwater, Florida, and the reason is so we can laugh and learn together as we do on-line, but now face-to-face.

Many of you who attended the convention in Minneapolis will remember Bob's circle discussions. They were such a hit, they're on the program again. There will also be workshops about telecommunications for the HOH, SS disabilities qualifications, cochlear implants, adaptation to deafness, and "Fear, Frustration and Fatigue," by a wonderful speaker, Denise Portis, who is both married to the Director of SHHH and an active member of the SayWhatClub. Denise will also give the keynote speech on Saturday evening.
But it won't all be just about workshops. There will also be shopping, hanging out with others, eating, and, of course, the beach right outside the doors of the hotel.
