Christmas tree hunting in Washington state

We went Christmas tree cutting -- to a Christmas tree
farm, of which there are many in our area. First decision is which farm to
go to. We drove past several and ended up at one that was about 20 acres and
had what looked like 20,000 trees, any of which would make a good Christmas
tree.
I long ago realized that this is too many choices, so I now tend to
latch on to the first tree I come to that's about the right height and
announce "Here it is!" My wife then says, well we haven't begun to look
yet, let's go a bit further." So, eventually at the far end of the 20 acre
field, we find the "perfect tree," cut it, and then I have to lug it back
past 19,999 OTHER perfect trees to the van. BAH, HUMBUG! ;-)
