I am really going to miss Joanie intensely.
She was a wonderful warm and intelligent person who livened up every chat that she was in.
I can't recall the number of times that she had me doubled up with laughter by saying something totally outrageous.
She was always there to support her friends if she thought that they needed it. I never met Joanie face to face but I grew to like her as a vivacious, funny and caring person.
I am sure that those of us lucky to have spoken to her on chat will agree that life just isn't going to be the same without our mate _Zig.
My life was made richer for knowing her.

I did not have the honor of knowing Joanie. However, I did get to know her though all her friends here on SWC. She seemed like a remarkable person who loved life and knew what she wanted out of it. My thoughts and prayers to her family and Joanie, you are free of all illness and pain. You can now "hear" the wonders of the world and rest in peace.

of knowing you.
We have lost a very dear friend. I have met Joan at various Alda conventions. She was a nice sweet and caring person. She was always kind to everyone. We exchanged Christmas cards during the holiday seasons. Joan was always up to something with her jokes. At one of the Alda conventions she was passing out water condoms. LOL Joan, we will all miss you.

While I never met Joanie face to face, I had
quite a few chats with her in the SWC Chat rooms, especially in
the SayIt chat on Saturday afternoons.
Joanie was such a fun-loving person and loved to joke and especially
tease Arthur Veen in the chats. We had many hilarious condom discussions
where Joanie would have us nearly rolling on the floor and tears
rolling down our cheeks with laughter.
