There are two hearing loss related Usenet Discussion groups on the Internet. Usenet groups are open to all, it is not necessary to 'subscribe' to them. They are unedited and anyone can post a message to the group.

This group discusses hearing aids; experience, quality, types, what to look for, what to purchase. Also hearing tests, audiologists, medical and alternative treatment of hearing loss, and coping strategies.
This is a fairly new group. You may have to ask your Internet provider to add the group to their server.
